Zambia Congress of Trade Unions

The Department of Regional Administration is made up of ten (10)  regions, each region with its own district committees.  The regions are coordinated by Regional Coordinators who ensure that Congress is represented at all provincial events, including participation on all Provincial Development coordinating Committees in the country, Provincial activities for trade unions, government and other stakeholders. 

KEY PROGRAM AREAS

Some of the Regional Coordinators  sit on the newly introduced Provincial Appointment and Promotions Committees in their provinces after being appointed by the Public Service Commission. 

+ Other duties include Organizing and Recruitment  of new members, monitoring of revenue collection and preparing periodic reports to Secretariat.

+ They also ensure that positions on district committees are always filled up and functional in order for district work to flow effectively.
